Good food and the service was great very friendly huge improvement over they last time I came here a few years ago

I have visited this location many times and I have always enjoyed their food The staff has always been very friendly and I have always enjoyed my meals.

went here once after my senior sunrise, super kind people, it can be a little understaffed at times, but nevertheless food made with love and the staff is so kind just have patience !!!!!

Came here with family to get something to eat after church. Nostalgia feel of the 50's-60's of course. Was seated quickly and took our drink order which came out like we had ordered. Next was the waitress and took our order, there was 7 of us and she memorized all our orders and repeated them back to us to ensure our order was correct without writing them down or with a tablet. This waitress definitely has a special talent. Food came out as we ordered and it was tasty. Would come back again. Big big big shout out to that waitress. She needs a promotion or raise.

Our first time at Mels was okay. Located in Antioch, you can find it next to Planet Fitness and Dennys. I have to say that this location apparently closes at 9:30, even though all websites say 10PM. Service was okay, with our waitress taking out orders quickly, but no follow up for our table. Ambiance was tranquil I went with the Country Skillet, which was perfect. The egg, bacon bits and gravy were delicious, and made in a reasonable time. For 4 of us, we spent around $60, which was nice! I'd come back, but pray the service is a bit better, and the actual times are updated!

I really love coming here and my go-to order has always been the fish and chips! Although my most recent order was a little disappointing because they changed their recipe! It could just be the batter, that's really my only complaint since the texture is totally different than what I've always eaten. It went from a super trad fish and chips with a nice crunch, to a panko type of fried fish.
